WHAT IS THE GLOBAL IMPACT OFFERING?
Following Jesus Christ's command in Matthew 28 to "go and make disciples of all nations," First Baptist Cleburne voted at the October 22, 2023, Quarterly Conference to establish the Global Impact Offering (Global Impact). Global Impact consolidates existing offerings and donations, distributes them to ongoing mission initiatives, and establishes new mission experiences for the church and its members.
CURRENTLY - We collect offerings during their allotted times:
- Annie Armstrong at Easter,
- Mary Hill Davis in the Fall
- Lottie Moon at Christmas.
There are other offering appeals throughout the year for other ministries.
THE BENEFITS OF THE GLOBAL IMPACT – We encourage year-round giving through monthly or weekly gifts after tithes have been given. Year-round gifts will be distributed according to the chart on the right.
A year-round giving emphasis allows individuals to budget their missions giving throughout the year and encourages a year-round focus on missions.
