* Covenant Men will meet Tuesday at 6:00am for Bible study, prayer, and breakfast. All men are invited!
* Youth Mission Trip to Shreveport is July 26-31, 2010. * The Baptist World Alliance Conference is July 28 - August 2, 2010 in Honolulu, HI. * July 30, Children's Fantastic Friday. We will stay at church, play some games, eat pizza, and watch a movie. Meet at 11:00 AM, and we will be finished by 3:00 PM. * Tuesday, August 3 is Evergreen at 11:00 AM. The program is a book review by Rosemary Rumbley. Bring your favorite salad or sandwiches and dessert will be furnished.
* Financial Report as of July 18, 2010: Budget Requirements: $585,224. Receipts: $536,077. Receipts are under budget $49,147. Expenditures are $503,185.
* For His Glory: Total Cost: $1,100,000. Receipts: $676,008. Loan Balance: $73,302. Monthly Payments: $8,037.
* The family of God at First Baptist Church of Cleburne gives 10% of our undesignated offerings to missions, education and benevolence through the Cooperative Program. *The Church Council has voted to have combined worship at 10:30AM through August 15, 2010. Sunday School will be at 9:15AM. Please pray that God will move among His people as we worship together this summer! * August 6, Children's Fantastic Friday. The children will go to Ft. Worth Zoo. We will leave the church by 9:30 AM and return by 3:30 PM. Bring a lunch and $9.00.
* August 8, Summer Concert Series presents Dr. Leslie Spotz at 6:00 PM followed by a church-wide reception in our Fellowship Hall.
* August 10, Children's Terrific Tuesday. The children will go to Hawaiian Falls. Meet at the church at 9:00 AM and we will return by 6:00 PM. Bring your lunch and $16.00.
* Family Game Night is Friday, August 13, 2010 at 6:30PM in the Christian Activities Building.
* Sack lunch Saturday is August 14, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Contact Jennifer Vanderlaan for more information.
* "Youth-led" Worship is August 15, 2010.
* Children's Back To School Party will be Saturday, August 21. More details to follow!
* Sunday, August 22 will be Sunday School Promotion Day!
* August 27-28, Men's Ministry 4-Wheeling at the Crosby Farm.
* Sunday, August 29 at 6:00 PM we will have our Quarterly Conference and Meal.
Other Information:
* FBC Church family suppers are Wednesdays from 5:00 - 5:45PM in the CAB. Cost is $4; $3 for 10 and under; and a $12 family max.
* The Adult Bible study and prayer meeting now gathers in the parlor at 6:00PM on Wednesdays.
* Preschool Pals & Children's Bible Study, Wednesday 6:00 PM.
* Ladies' Bible Study (LCB) and Men's Bible Study (3rd Floor "Men's Room") are Wednesdays at 5:45 PM.
* Engage, Youth worship and Bible study are Wednesdays at 6:00PM in the Annex.
* The FBC orchestra will rehearse Wednesday at 7:00 PM in the worship center. Bring your instrument and join the orchestra.
* The FBC Sanctuary choir will rehearse Wednesday at 7:30 PM in the choir room. It's a great time to join the choir.
* Youth Praise Band Rehearsal is Sunday at 3:30 PM.
* Youth Choir Rehearsal is Sunday at 5:00 PM.
* Your prayer room is open Monday - Friday from 5:30 AM to 8:30 PM and weekends from 7:00 Am to 8:30 PM.
* Celebrate Recovery is every Tuesday from 5:45pm – 9:00pm. CR is for anyone who needs help with habits, hang-ups or hurts from a biblical, Christ-centered perspective. For information, email Dr. Mike Stiles at drmikesplace@yahoo.com. Childcare for children up through Kindergarten is provided.
* Your FBC Library is open Sundays from 9:30 - 9:45 AM, 10:45 - 11:00 AM and Noon - 12:15 PM. The library is also open Wednesday evenings from 4:45 - 5:15 PM.
